IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) services
If you're looking for laser services, IPL (intense pulsed light) is the newest form of laser technology. Many of our clients find that IPL treatments are more effective and less painful than older laser technology.
Hair removal
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) hair removal treats unwanted face and body hair by permanently reducing the hair in a series of about 3-6 sessions. While shaving, tweezing and waxing only remove the hair temporarily, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments target the hair follicle causing hair to become finer and fewer until it is eventually gone altogether. Advanced Skin Care Center of North Conway uses the Palomar IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) system which treats hair with minimal discomfort with its patented cooling system which keeps the skin cooled to 4 degrees Celsius before, during and after the IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) pulse. Treatments are spaced out 6 weeks apart to follow with the hair’s growth cycle.
Brown Spots (Sun Damage)
Sun damage can be treated safely and easily with the use of new IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology. Where before you were forced to use expensive bleaching creams which were time consuming and often yielded disappointing results, now IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments can often remove hyper-pigmented spots in just one treatment!

Photo-rejuvenation Facial
The photo-rejuvenation facial is effective in clearing red spots (broken capillaries, cherry hemagioma and diffused redness), as well as collagen remodeling, minimizing pore size and fine lines. The photo-rejuvenation facial is recommended to be done in a series of 5 treatments, though great results can often be seen after only one treatment! There is very little discomfort and no patient down time.

Spider Veins
With the use of IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment unsightly veins are easily diminished until they are no longer seen beneath the surface of the skin. Desired results may take several treatments.

Acne
Acne can be effectively treated with the Palomar IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) System. An IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is used to kill the harmful blemish causing bacteria beneath the skin’s surface, stopping the cycle of breakouts.

Rosacea
In the treatment of rosacea the IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is targeted on the inconsistencies in the skin’s pigmentation reducing redness sometimes in only one treatment, though several treatments may be needed to achieve desired results.
Prices range between $50 - $100 per treatment, with approximately 1-5 treatments needed (depending on severity of condition).
Cherry Hemagiomas
To treat hemagioma and vascular lesions, special wavelengths of light are used to break up the lesion and cause them to disappear.
